DESCRIPTION

Research, consultation and workshop facilitation for the South Australian Government's Arts Plan for South Australia.

Following extensive community and industry consultation, the Arts and Culture Plan South Australia 2019-2024 was developed to guide the growth of and investment in the state’s leadership in the arts and cultural sector.

Dr. Sarah Barns delivered key strategic research input to the Consultant Report, facilitated a number of arts and community sector workshops, and supported the lead consultants in delivering final recommendations delivered in the Plan.

  • 200+ interviews and seven focus groups were conducted with arts practitioners and organisations across all art forms, in addition to government representatives, industry groups and educational institutions.

  • 1,800 people responded to the Arts Plan 2019-2024 survey.
